March 17, 2012; Various Times Volunteers Rock at the SunTrust Rock 'n' Roll Marathon! Support the community and thousands of runners and walkers at the SunTrust Rock 'n' Roll USA Marathon and CareFirst Rock 'n' Roll USA Half Marathon! More than 1,900 Race Crew and Medical Team volunteer positions are available, including setup; greeters; starting-, finish-line and on-course support; first aid, transition and water station staffing; and more! Groups are welcome and encouraged to register and this commitment can be used toward community service requirements. All volunteers receive a T-shirt, Drawstring Backpack, Snacks & Water, Entry into prize drawings, Community Service hours if needed, and, of course, a great time helping others!
