children at Bruce Monroe at Park View ES for an hour a week! Help
stimulate involvement in the community center, and create a culture of
reading for kids in the neighborhood.
The Columbia Heights Neighboring
program seeks engage residents on their own blocks. When everyone is
involved, programs like the Reading Circle sustain themselves. This
event is open to everyone, but neighbors in Columbia Heights, Petworth,
Mount Pleasant and U Street are encouraged to come! Metro accessible.
Note: You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer here.
